On a special note, kudos to our head coach, John Prasuhn and his staff who caught a mistake in the scoring. John reported the mistake to the officials and timers, a mistake that would have moved us out of qualifying for State. However, in the final calculations, we still finished in the top 3 and qualified as a team! We are so proud that in a time where the stakes were very high, John stepped up and made the right call. He showed his entire team, coaching staff and the Region that integrity and honesty are bigger qualities than winning ever will be. Great leadership John! Thanks for all you do for kids and the RMHS community!

Congratulation to Rocky’s very own Sam Simon for an outstanding hockey season and an incredible record setting performance at last night’s hockey championship game. Sam is the goal keeper for the Fort Collins Hockey team and last night set a high school Colorado state record for saves and tied the national record at 84 saves for the night. While the team ended up losing 0-1 in the 5th overtime, many are calling Sam’s performance one of the greatest they’ve ever seen!!
