Congratulations to the girls soccer team for finishing in the top 4 in the STATE!!! Lobos played their hearts out and came up just short to Arapahoe 2-3. The girl Lobos had an incredible season and bounced back from 3-4-1 season start to win 10 straight and reach the final four of the Class 5A playoffs! Super proud of these ladies!
Congrats to Lindsey Osterfelt for placing 2nd in the State for Discus, and Anna Holland for placing 7th. Congrats also to Dominic Gallelli who placed 4th in the 110 Hurdles, and Holden Lefke for placing 7th in the Pole Vault. Way to go Bo's!
Congrats to the Boys Lacrosse team for an excellent season. They made it to the first round of the playoffs and lost to Rock Canyon 6 to 5 in the last 25 seconds. Way to go Bo's, super proud of you!

Rocky Mountain Boys Swim having a great season and recently took 2nd at the City Meet and 2nd in City Quad. Awesome job Lobos!!
The Rocky Mtn swim & dive team placed 2nd out of 24 teams at the Jeffco Invite.
Boys Basketball had a great season and competed in the 2nd round of the State Tournament!
Ice Hockey finished second in the league, was the #3 seed and went to the Ice Hockey quarterfinals!
Unified Basketball placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd at Regionals!
Rocky Wrestling team places 8th as a team at State!! Alec Hargreaves becomes State Champion at 195lbs!! He secured a takedown for the win with 12 seconds left! Kolten Straint placed 5th at 132 lbs, and Matt Kinerson was 5th at 182 lbs! Way to go Bo's!!
We also became Regional Champions!!!!! The team placed all 13 wrestlers in the top 6 and qualified 9 for State!

Congratulation to Rocky's swim & dive team, finishing the Front Range League Conference Championship meet in 3rd place! Throughout the two day meet, Lobo swimmers had a total of 97 best times! Meredith Smithbaker is the Conference Champion in the 50 free and 100 free. She set the school record and a Front Range League Conference Record as well as an All American time in the 50 free. Placing third was the Medley Relay of Quinlan Hinerfeld , Alex Leland, Kaytlyn Pryor, and Meredith. Also placing third was the 200 Free Relay of Kira Leland, Alex Leland, Alex Engelbardt, and Meredith. The Lobos participate in the 5A State meet Friday and Saturday in Thornton.
Congrats to the wrestling team as they beat Poudre HS for the City Championship in a score of 51 - 18.
Congratulations to the wrestling team for finishing 2nd out of 47 teams from CO, WY, NM, UT, and SC at the Warrior Classic in Grand Junction Dec 14 & 15. Alec Hargreaves finished in 1st place defeating a WY State Champ in the finals. Kolten Strait, Trey Hardy, and Matt Kinerson finished in 4th place. While Lance Johnson and Christian Deherrera finished in 5th place.
Congrats to the 7 Rocky swimmers that competed Saturday at the Abelin Memorial Invite and qualified for finals and placed 15th out of 50 teams. Special congrats to Quinlan Hinerfeld, Alex Leland, Kaitlin Pryor, and Meredith Smithbaker for setting a new school record be beating the old one by .61 seconds. Way to go Lady Bo’s!
Rocky's swim & dive team placed 16th at the 5A State Championship meet. Meredith Smithbaker placed 2nd in the 50 free with a new school record, and 9th in the 100 breast. The Medley Relay team of Quinlan Hinerfeld, Alex Leland, Kaitlin Pryor and Meredith placed 11th with a new school record. Also placing 11th was the 200 Free Relay of Alex Leland, Quinlan, Alex Engelhardt, and Meredith. Quinlan also placed 20th in the 200 Individual Medley.

Both the boys and the girls Cross Country teams won the Freshman/Sophomore Meet Titles at the Pat Amato Meet on Tuesday, Oct. 2. The girls had 3 runners in the top 10: Ella Wolf - 7, Camille Long-Shore - 8, and Karmen Rieger - 10.The boys had 2 runners in the top 10: Dalton Kaines - 3 and Niall Kaines - 9.
Congrats to the boys and girls cross country teams for a great showing at the Loveland Sweetheart Meet. Varsity & JV Girls both placed first and the boys varsity & jv teams placed 2nd. Way to go Bo's!

2017-2018 SCHOOL YEAR
Congratulations on a huge accomplishment obtained by a few of our Lobo swimmers. Several of our lobo swimmers achieved All American status for the 2017-2018 school year. To obtain this status, an athletes time must be within the top 100 in the country. Rocky has had a few consideration times over the past 3-4 years, but this is the first time that we've had All-Americans! To be within the top 100 in the country is extremely hard to do! Congrats to the following athletes:
Sawyer Kruse - in the 100 Fly, placing 84th and in the 100 Backstroke he placed 90th!
Emily Barrier – in the 100 Free, placed 98th .
Girls' 200 Free Relay: Meredith Smithbaker, Amy Fromme, Alex Engelhardt, and Emily Barrier - placed 39th
Rocky also had consideration times (times considered, but didn't make the top 100) from Emily Barrier in the 50 free (it looks like she missed the top 100 by 0.03 seconds), and Meredith Smithbaker (missed by 0.1 seconds), and Meredith in the 100 breast.
Way to go Bo’s!!!

This year, thanks to Coach John Prasuhn's nomination, Callin Naddy (member of Cross Country, Girls Swim and Track team) is the recipient of the Heart Of Champion Scholarship!!!

Rocky's swim & dive team wrapped up their season with a very strong 7th place finish at the 5A State Championship Meet. The meet was highlighted by a 2nd place finish and an Automatic All-American time in the 200 free relay (Meredith Smithbaker, Amy Fromme, Alex Engelhardt, and Emily Barrier). Emily also placed 2nd in the 50 free and 4th in the 100 free. Meredith placed 4th in the 50 free, and 3rd in the 100 breast. Huge shoutout also to team members of: Allie Zapp, Kaitlin Pryor, Kaytlyn Vander Meer, Fiona Papile and Edie McRoberts. We are proud of each and every one of you!

Congratulations to the girls swim team for placing 2nd at the FC Pentathalon vs all of the city HS teams. Also, on Jan. 5 the girls placed 3rd at the Keith Weideman Invite. Emily Barrier broke the school record and the 1996 meet record while winning the 100 backstroke. Emily Barrier was named Senior Swimmer of the Keith Weideman Invite!

Congrats to the cross country teams for their qualifying and participating at State's. The boys finished 19th and thegirls team finished 4th –for the girls it was the best team finish since 2006. Julia Schlepp led the Lobos and finished 9th followed by Callin Naddy in 19th! Way to go Bo’s! Also, the girls cross country team placed 2nd at Regionals and Conference! Congrats o to the boys team as they placed 4th at Regionals.
